press night/The Girl in the Yellow Dress. Fiona Button, Clifford Samuel star in second play by South African CRAIG HIGGINSON (Dream of the Dog), which mixes ‘roticism, racial tension and voyeurism. Joint Artistic Director TIM ROSEMAN directs. Follows run at Salisbury Playhouse. Higginson’s third play, Little Foot, features as part of the National Theatre’s 2012 Connections Festival this summer. regional theatre/I Dreamed a Dream. Susan Boyle, Elaine C Smith, Scottish singer makes guest appearances alongside star of Rab C Nesbitt who plays her in new musical, when it kicks off it’s UK tour. Also stars JAMES PATERSON and KAREN MANN who play Pat and Bridie Boyle (her parents), ASHLEIGH GRAY as her childhood friend Lorraine Campbell, JEFFREY HARMER as her manager Andy Stephens, LIZ EWING as Mrs Johnstone, her school teacher, GORDON COOPER, ANNE SMITH, FRANCES MAYLI McCANN, DAVID HAYDN and ALAN
McHUGH, who co-wrote the musical with Elaine C Smith. Musical charts the Scottish singer’s meteoric rise from obscurity to international stardom which began with her performance of I Dreamed a Dream on Britain’s Got Talent, subsequently viewed 300 million times on YouTube. Directed by ED CURTIS, choreographed by NICK WINSTON. Runs to March 31 , kicking off UK tour which also vists Aberdeen (April 3-7), Bradford (April 10-14), Liverpool (April 17-21), Dublin (April 24-28), Bristol (May 1-5), Southend

private view/Sometimes the Answer by Cheryl Dunn. Cheryl Dunn, American photographer, attends inaugural exhibition at new gallery founded in 2011 by Pedro Matos and Rui Da Paz Louro. Survey of photographs from Dunn’s 30 year career of signature documentation is accompanied by the release of a limited edition artist’s book.
