Re-run for KATE SELLERS and ANDREI VIRONOV’s new adaptation of MARCELLE MAURETTE’s classic French play written in 1952 and set in early 20th century Berlin, 10 years after the murder of the Russian Tsar and his family by the Bolshevik secret service. Rumours abound that the youngest daughter survived the massacre and is living among Russian exiles in Berlin. Directed by Sellers for her company, Walking Thoughts, in the Centre for Russian Culture, Pushkin House. Follows run in December 2009. Runs March 26 to April 21. First substantial survey of the work of bad boy of Brit art in the UK, spanning 20 years of his output and including iconic works like his famous pickled shark (now 20 years old). Set is set in 1912 and centres on James Tyrone, his wife Mary and their sons Jamie and Edmund as they battle their demons during a long summer’s day. KYLE SOLLER also stars. First produced on Broadway in 1956. Directed by ANTHONY PAGE. Follows run at the Richmond Theatre, February 22 to March 3.
