Celebrating Her Majesty’s 60 years of service, a flotilla of over 1000 boats will sail from Battersea Bridge to Tower Bridge, carrying 30,000 flag-waving members of the public centre stage/mid-river, along with music barges and boats spouting geysers. A floating belfry’s chimes will be answered by thoses from riverside churches. The Queen’s party sets off Cadogan Pier on the Royal Barge (The Spirit of Chartwell) and disembarks just downriver of Tower Bridge. Other royals join along the route.
