The Red Arrows perform a flypast. In the afternoon HRH Princess Royal will be greeted by the seven serving captains as she boards the Oriana, before heading later to the Solent to formally review the P&O Cruises fleet from the Trinity House vessel “Patricia”. With a new 15,000 pasengers, the seven ships will then sail in formation into the Solent, with the Red Arrows flying in a mirror seven-plane display formation. David Leonard, takes over the role of Miss Trunchbull in the RSC’s award-winning stage musical version of ROALD DAHL’s 1988 kids novel by DENNIS KELLY (book) and Australian comedian TIM MINCHIN (music and lyrics). Tells the story of a young girl ignored by her parents and terrorised by her headteacher who discovers she has   psychokinetic powers and decides to teach the grown-ups a lesson.
