We don’t usually cover corporate events, so we won’t excite you with details of the fibre-optic tech conference at Excel. Yada yada. But we will tell you this: Dirty Martini have recently opened in Minories. And the cocktails are jolly delightful – they ace the classic martini, but did you know that they also smash the dragon fruit and pomegranate martini, the green monk (trendy matcha flavour) and the less macho sounding Latina caramella (a remarkable combo of caramel, vanilla vodka and Peroni). (Ed – really, Peroni? – I know you said its a lovely cocktail, but Peroni? Ugh.)
If you’re wondering how they manage to elegantly pull off such delightful flavour combinations, look no further than their chief of R&D, Head Mixologist, Tom Cole. He whizzes around the world trying and testing exotic delights so that you can enjoy them without having to leave the comfort of the best city in the world.
We’re pretty excited to hear that Dirty Martini have a new Christmas drinks menu, complete with sticky-toffee fizz. We know where we want our staff party this year – do you?
