Keep Pace

Well, London boasts a load of galleries – it’s our job to find you the best. And Pace London has got to be up there with them. Not only is this a magnificent space, the people are delightful (which is worthy of praise in itself in this otherwise often affected, groundlessly superior world – I heard one gallery owner referred to as ‘pernicious’ last week – and that was at their press night!) and the stuff Pace exhibit is museum quality – harking back to the days when museums could afford to buy. Now its again the turn of the wealthy private collectors – John Soames comes full circle!
So, as last night, you can expect Caro (call me a snob – but even you’ve heard of him right? Lol!) the late John Hoyland and Kenneth Noland – all one time artistic muckers and now with their works arranged before us, wine in hand (metaphorically of course – you don’t drink in a museum: you do it next door!) for our delight.
You’re welcome to call in at 6 Burlington Gardens – you probably won’t get the wine, but you will get to see what the museums are missing!
