‘Marsela’ The Crazy Coqs – Review

Here’s a thing.
London is rammed with talented people doing their best to rise above the noise and be noticed. These are just the sort of folk that London At Large is all about. Folk like Marsela. How she persuaded the excellent Crazy Coqs (with their always super, lovely staff) to showcase her talents, I don’t know but hell, those guys know how to pick a winner. Here was a raw, talented performer singing her own songs – and covering others (with a band that seemed, at the outset, rather surprised to be on stage – let alone on one so esteemed) but who, just by the magic of her voice, commanded and captured the sold out crowd.
Gotta love live music!
Yes, I’ve written about Marsela on Instagram but that site gets a tiny viewership compared to here so let’s hope this little mention helps the quiet, unassuming talent that is Marsela rise yet further above the noise.
And yes, I did pay for a ticket.
