The World’s festival: WOMAD is a haven of musical insights and possibilities, crossing borders and languages to unite thousands in the joy of music without limits. An eclectic mix of talent, from newcomers to legends, unknowns to visionary songwriters will be making their way to the picturesque landscape of Charlton Park in Wiltshire. Expect a huge array of genres from R&B, rap, rock, blues, punk and jazz all the way to brass bands, Qawwali, mambo and flamenco.
And so much more to discover, from artists cooking up a storm at the Taste The World stage, treatments aplenty at the World of Wellbeing and WOMAD Spa, celebrating the spoken word at World of Words, science exploration at World of Physics and one of the very best children’s area at any festival at the World of Children – this year’s theme is Super Heroes and kids 13 and under go FREE.

The world’s most iconic twin festivals, Reading & Leeds returns this August with an era-defining line-up loaded with electrifying artists that reflect the dynamic tastes of the current generations, including headliners Fred again…, Lana Del Rey, Blink-182, Catfish & The Bottlemen, Liam Gallagher and Gerry Cinnamon. This year also boasts UK festival exclusives for The Wombats, Ashnikko, Jorja Smith and Skrillex, all at the largest UK festival devoted solely to music. Other acts announced include FLO, Teddy Swims and Kid Kapichi.
Reading & Leeds will welcome 240,000 music fans in a celebration of live music, featuring a brand-new stage, The Chevron – an immense 40,000-capacity open-air venue featuring the world’s first floating video canopy made up of hundreds of thousands of programmable LED lights, which will host the world’s biggest silent rave.
